The Training Unit of the Morristown Police Department is supervised by Lieutenant Chris Wisecarver.  It is the responsibility of the Training Unit to ensure that both sworn and civilian personnel receive mandated training required by state and federal law. The Training Unit conducts two Citizen Police Academy's each year and works with the Law enforcement explorer program.  Several officers of the Morristown Police Department are state certified instructors, which makes it possible to provide quality training for all personnel.
