A Glass palace warmth of sun streams through at Break of dawn. Near the shore sounds of breakers roar.
Panes of glass reveal to the North red cliffs, coves, Pines and more. To the East a garden path brought to life a harmony Showers, shades and hues natures' bouquet of flowers.
To the South a winding road that goes to town City streets, little shops, life quivers in its crown.
In my glass cocoon roams my thoughts room. To room this pleasant day in June. As the stars splashed in the night sky
A favored shadow came to rest, near my nest A welcome to my eye. A handsome knight comes to call each night In my dreams
it seems and always a Welcome sight. A red rose in his hand, a sonnet of love away we ride All night through the countryside.
Dawn finds daylight streaming through the panes Of glass, once again a red rose upon my pillow Gently placed as always close to my nose.
Now, there in the vase on the night stand eight Of love's red roses perhaps a few more and My knight will take me through Heaven's Gate.
Together we will greet our fate.
