Somewhere… beyond the great divide

Somewhere… beyond the callous hand

Somewhere… beyond realities sand

Somewhere… beyond dreamers land

Beyond the partition, the sad road of perdition

Beyond the dreamers hope intervention- surely mediation

Moving mountains washing blood and tears- so many years

Growing closer yet still favoring holy wars the great divide

Closer still a heart beats song

Closer still we move along

Closer still one day all to belong!

Holding new flags old songs new hopes

Becoming closer still a new pride

Leaving behind oceans O’ the great divide
