Liberty’s Parade

In remembrance we found our tolerance

In our horror we found determination

In our tears we found gave comfort

In our numbers we grew in each sinew

In our prayers we reclaimed the souls lost

And our own to view

In our devastation we reclaimed our nation

In our wisdom our boundaries way-stations

May we become the neighbors who others

Would claim in favors

May we become the serenity of our symbols!

May we become the hands to aid!

Leaving the monetary to the shade!

May we become again as we once were

Remembering the truths that made

The eagle soar as liberty heads

The parade!
