Not often do I tend to appear at the favorite buffet spot
It seems the best restraint to me is avoid temptation
Enjoying the salad bar end as I watch others a salad plot
Such wondrous salads I see as others design their creation
As they circle round the buffet as covered wagons in their day
Their concentration the genuine looks tempered souls that do not stray
Couples paired, friends who chat and compare, others in solitude
And of course they're to be seen women and men quite large in their being
Each a plate of wonder as they wander round the marvels of food
The looks in those who are portly and stout their eyes glean
As each plate is filled their soul from their eyes is spilled
Some are large and quite tall they have in life certainly been deemed after all
By family and friends for certain they are big boned and carry their weight well
As you watch each and they're pace their concentration on their face you see it all
Then the largest one of all generally a woman sometimes within certainty a member of family together they have a march no other would match again and again they
return to be seen as they encore for each curtain call on their face a slight grimace will be seen These ladies without a doubt are well noted by the waitresses and so dubbed
Buffet Queens!
