Hamblen Veterans of Korean War

This is a list of names of men who served in the local National Guard unit which was ordered to active duty in late 1950 during the Korean War. In September of 2000, 50 years after the unit's activation, the surviving veterans gathered on the Hamblen County Courthouse lawn for the dedication of a monument to the unit - complete with names of the veterans.

At the time of the monument dedication the unit had lost track of seven men from the unit : They are Jimmy A. Green, Kenneth K. Green, John N. Hurst Jr., Billy W. Moore, Harry Sams, Everett V. Seals Jr., James V. Williams.
