This is from some notes I made while doing research for someone. This is Morris households on the 1870 census from Grainger, Jefferson and Hawkins Counties, Tennessee. Although Hamblen County came into being in 1870, the census is taken along the old county organization, and Hamblen County is not on the 1870 census. Hamblen itself was formed from parts of Grainger, Jefferson and Hawkins counties.
