Morristown was named after the Morris Family. Here is a memorial to the Drury Morris family which is in Jarnagin Cemetery in Morristown.

I've made indexes to the 1876, 1877 and 1878 Morristown Gazette Newspaper. Also I have written two books, Morristown in 1880, and In Old Morristown. I don't have any copies to sell, but you might find them in the archive room at the court house.
